TASK BOOK

Attention: Information will be constantly  updated.

Start from any location. Any motorcycle. Any road. In a single day. Every team discovers own route via any of 40 historical and heritage objects.

SUMMARY

Mototourism Rally – is both cultural and adventure rally, where riders ride around whole country, visit interesting historic, cultural heritage places and get points. Teams that collect most points win.

General info

  • History: first rally took place in 2011
  • Date: 2018 08 18.
  • Mission: Style of travelling in Lithuania
  • Location: All over Lithuania, finish @ Birstonas resort
  • Public support: Department of cultural heritage, Department of tourism, Lithuanian Motosport Federation, etc.

  • European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH 2018)
  • 100 year after restoration of Lithuania
  • The history of Lithuanian army

Format

  • General
    • All riders take part, novice and experienced.
    • All over Lithuania
    • It is team-based. Teams comprise 2-5 motorcycles (2-10 team members).
  • Goal
    • Visit interesting, cultural, historic places, that are provided by organizers. Sometimes answer questions, solve some tasks.
    • The organizers will provide the task books at start. The task book will contain all objects to visit and related questions or tasks.
    • Team plan their routes individually. It is not required to visit all objects, though there migh be some mandatory places to visit.
    • The whole trip should fit 10 hours.
  • Safety
    • All riders should strictly follow Traffic Regulations.
    • Riders and their motorcycles should have all necessary documents and licences that are necessary to drive legally together with them. Motorcycles should be in technical order.
    • Riders should wear all necessary motorcycle gear (at least helmet, gloves, shoes, knees and elbows should be protected)

SCHEDULE

  • 08:00 start from any location in Lithuania
  • 17:00-18:00  finish at Birstonas resort
  • 19:00 awards
  • 19:30 move to camping (optional)

COMPETITORS INFO AND REGISTRATION

Team registration

Registration, team management and payments

ATTENTION!

  • After You register a new team. you will get account information to your email. Using that account, you will later add team members, make payments, etc. We recommend that team Captain would register your team.
  • If your team IS ALREADY REGISTERED, DO NOT register it once again. Instead please contact your Captain (or the one who registered it). He got all account info in his email.
  • Before registration period ends, all team members should register (incl. passengers)  and payment should be done. Otherwise the team will not be approved.

Starting fees

  • Team starting fee – 75 Eur
  • Inidividual starting fee – 25 Eur

Regulations

Full regulations is now under active development. It will be published not later than 3 months until rally left (but most probably it will be published much earlier).

Night sleep accommodation

Participants might sleep at camping and accommodation places nearby.

Camping

  • Camping is open from 2018 08 18 15:00, closed 2019 08 19 12:00
  • Camping is settled in an open area within Birstonas city near Nemunas river
  • Camping is only dedicated to rally competitors and their supporters
  • Tents only allowed by default. If smth else, please contact.
  • Amenities:
    • Big tent for meals
    • Toilets
    • Bath sink
    • Electricity (mobile charge, etc.)
  • Camping schedule:
    • Chats with tea, relax time with your team and others. Calm space, nothing disturbing.

  • In case of other accommodation options, the competitors care about them on their own. The organizers do not take any responsibility for that.
